Salted Caramel & Brownie Trifle

What better way to make a trifle recipe than to have loads of salted caramel and brownies?



Ingredients
FUDGE BROWNIE
4 Tbsp cold and unsalted butter
10 oz Good quality chocolate (72% cocoa solids)
1 1/2 Cups Firmly packed brown sugar
4 Whole Eggs , beaten lightly
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 Cups A.p flour
1/2 tsp Kosher salt
1 recipe for Salted caramel sauce
1 cup Salted Caramel Sauce (above recipe)
2 Tblsp granulated sugar
2 packs (1 lb) Cream cheese, at room temperature
3 cups heavy cream , cold
CHOCOLATE SAUCE
8 ounces semisweet or bittersweet chocolate (I like 72 percent cacao)
1 cup heavy cream

To make the Brownies: Preheat the oven to 350oF (180oC). Grease and line a 13x9 inch baking pan

Combine the butter, chocolate and sugar in medium saucepan; stir over medium heat until smooth. Set aside and allow to cool down.

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with parchment paper and spray with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, beat the peanut butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla and then the eggs, one at a time, beating until well incorporated.
Add the oats, baking soda and salt and mix on low speed until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips and M&Ms.

In a saucepan over medium low heat (or in the microwave), melt the butter.
Off the heat stir in the powder sugar, coconut, and pinch of salt.
Using clean hands form about 1 1/2 tsp of coconut mixture into balls.
Lightly press 1 almond into the center of the ball. Place on a parchment or wax paper lined cookie sheet.
